TALLAPOOSA, Ga. (November 1, 2026) – Tallapoosa Paintball wrapped the first annual West Georgia Zombie Hunt this October, welcoming more than 600 riders and firing roughly 240,000 paintballs into the dark, including ammo add-ons.
The Zombie Hunt is a night-time paintball trailer ride through decorated, zombie-infested trails at Tallapoosa Paintball's wooded property. Riders boarded 20-seat trailers, were armed with paintball markers, and fought through the horde as zombie actors came at them from the tree line. Rides ran every 30 minutes from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM, across 10 nights.
"We built this event to be the best thing Tallapoosa Paintball has ever put on, and the crowd showed up for it," said Brannon "Bubba" Harris, owner of Tallapoosa Paintball. "Six hundred people rode into our woods and lit up the night. Year one is in the books, and we're just getting started."
By the numbers: • 600+ riders attended • 240,000 paintballs fired • 10 nights in October • 20 seats per trailer
Tickets started at $25 per seat, which included 100 paintballs. Packages were available for solos, duos, trios, quartets and groups of five and six, and extra ammo could be added on site. A full crew of zombie actors, trail staff and safety personnel kept every ride moving.
The Zombie Hunt follows Tallapoosa Paintball's successful hosting of the Hate City Open, a WCPL-style tournament, in April, and shows the venue's push to bring bigger, bolder events to West Georgia.
Load up. Take aim. Survive the night.
